Bored of the World Cup?

For a bit of relief from the current overdose of football on the telly why not try the oval ball?
Rugby is back on the agenda in Campbeltown after a successful mini rugby festival held at the meadows and a developing band of enthusiasts looking to create an environment for enjoying the sport. The SRU and active schools coordinated rugby events across Kintyre, a well attended event in Campbeltown saw over 100 primary school children enjoying the non-contact version of the game - Tag Rugby. This has all helped generate interest in developing youth rugby further in the area.

If you are interested in getting involved in any way please feel free to contact Billy Johnstone on 077670 28562.

A meeting is arranged upstairs in the Argyll Hotel Monday 12th July 7pm to pave the way ahead. Kids rugby is first on the agenda and it is the aim of all involved to give local children a fun and safe environment to try the sport and develop to their full potential. You never know there may be a future star of the next rugby world cup! All those that have an interest in the sport and parents of children that would be keen to get involved are urged to attend. The more opportunities for kids to get out and about exercising the better. Training at the Grammar School will begin soon. Boys and girls aged 11 - 17yrs of all abilities are more than welcome.

Training Contact David Windram on 554437 or mobile 0754 4848 559.
