Digging for Fresh Garden Volunteers

Campbeltown Community Organic Garden (CCOG), behind Auchinlee on High Askomil, is looking to host a Family Open Day in April for everyone in the community but we need more local support:

· In order to provide family friendly garden and wildlife activities, work needs to be done!

· Volunteers are needed and with this in mind, transport and refreshments will be provided on specific days/times to cater for helpers at the garden.

· We will organise ‘Ring and Ride’ each Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, picking up from Long Row at 12noon, returning to Long Row for 3pm.

· Ring and Ride do not operate on weekends but it is hoped volunteers will team up if they wish to hurry the work along Sat/Sun!

· We will provide tools (and guidance where needed) – all volunteers need to bring is their enthusiasm!

· We need your help immediately and will work through the Volunteer Centre (now at Trenz) and information will be available there.

Let’s work together to get it together for our community.

Was up there today for a few hours, managed to do some weeding and plant potatoes. Made the four of us burger rolls and cups of tea in the ample sized t-shed while it was raining. Get up there with your lunch, it's so refreshing sitting up there watching the world go by, once the rain went off we had a lovely seat outside.

Took home some kale for the soup pot too, still a few sprouts for picking as well :D
Dance like no-one is watching....

See what the Community Garden have been up to. If you fancy working up at the garden why don't you bank your time through the time bank and use the time to use the skills of other time bank members for yourself when you need them!

Info for the time bank is up at the garden and at the Volunteer Centre.
