It confirms that I was correct re Old Quay Head.
I had heard years ago that there was a bowling green on the site of the Victoria Hall and Bolgam Street car park and the map has just cofirmed this. Some sources say that this was the origin of the Stronvaar club but judging by the date of the map it is more likely to be the Argyll club as they pre-date Stronvaar by at least 30 years.

your welcome.I found out lots about the town from it, I knew there were lots of distilleries in the town but never where they were
