Davie P

Am I missing it - has anyone mentioned the Owl Centre opening last week?

Congratulations to Rod and Nikki for getting this great venture off the ground. What an asset to the town. Hope it will be well supported. :)

Not everyone likes to see birds in cages and used as a commodity for material gain.

Is this a sanctuary or a business venture

I'll leave the jury out on this one 'till I have seen it for myself

I believe some of the owls are protected and they are doing their bit for conservation.

If you want to see birds in their natural habitat visit Eddie Maguire at the Machrihanish Seabird Observatory.

Nancie,

Try http://www.awwhosting.co.uk/campbeltown ... .php?t=228

which I posted the last week or so ago after being up to see the Owl Centre. I spoke to Rod sometime ago and then went back up and did a small page on this to try and promote the centre. Also created some banner adverts and they are posted on the website!

These are the kind of things the site is trying to promote and if anyone has any others please let me know. I also went to do the Heritage Centre but I have to speak to George first.....there is no charge for these pages in case anyone is wondering....( I worry to much what people think!)
