Work on Kintyre dialysis unit to start

Campbeltown Hospital.

A Tarbert building firm will begin work on the new dialysis unit within Campbeltown Hospital on May 11.

Duncan Macgregor Joiners and Builders are expected to complete the alterations by July with patients able to start receiving dialysis shortly afterwards.

Thanks to everyone involved in making this a reality. This has been a remarkable campaign and its' success is due to the hard work of the Kintyre community and NHS Highland.

So let's get this correct, the community of Campbeltown raises over £100,000 and they award the contract to a firm outside Campbeltown? Actually couldn't make this up!
