Orange Lodge
Posted: Thu Jun 26, 2014 9:56 amAccording to today's 'Herald' there is still an Orange Lodge in Campbeltown. If so, it must keep a extremely low profile. Can anyone enlighten me?

Posted: Fri Jun 27, 2014 3:28 pmI see in today's (Friday) Herald that there is to be a major Orange Order parade "in Argyll" tomorrow. I read on to see where this is to be held and find that it is in Helensburgh.
Helensburgh may now be within the Argyll and Bute Council area, but it is not in Argyll, as it is part of the old Dunbartonshire.
Incidentally, I see that the Orange Order has registered with the Electoral Commission as a participant organisation in the Independence Referendum, and they will be campaigning for a No vote. This should give a good boost to the Yes campaign.
