Volunteer Counsellors and Complementary Therapists Wanted – Cancer Support Scotland

Cancer Support Scotland provides emotional and practical support on a one-to-one basis and through community based groups to anyone affected by cancer including family, friends and carers.

Working with the library based Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service, the organisation is looking for qualified counsellors, or people who are working towards their accreditation and have a minimum of 100 counselling hours, to volunteer in Campbeltown for a few hours a month. Cancer Support Scotland will pay for your monthly supervision and any travelling expenses that you incur. You will also receive training and support to help you.

Are you an experienced Complementary Therapist? Would you like to volunteer and help people affected by cancer in Campbeltown for a few hours a month? All the therapists need to have the relevant qualifications, insurance, will go through a PVG check, and references will be taken up.

If you would like to join a great charity helping support local people that have been affected by cancer please email your C.V. to info@cancersupportscotland.org .

If you would like to have a chat about this volunteering opportunity please call Madaline on 0141 337 8199.

Thank you for your interest in Cancer Support Scotland (Registered Charity No. SC012867)
