Does anyone know if the Keil is reopening ? And, if so, when and as what ?

Would be very interested myself Cathian. My wife and I spent our wedding night there Jan 24 1969. Great place at the time, and one of the best scottish breakfasts I ever had. Will keep an eye out for info.

Great days those . The minister would have been the Rev. James Marks, and the Keil would have been with the Taylor family still. Barely three months before your happy day, the remaining part of an Irish wheel cross was found on a reef at Keil by Mary Taylor of the Keil Hotel, while walking her dog one October evening. It is nowadays in Campbeltown museum.

Like you and yours, we have such fond memories of the Keil.
