Although this could appear under SPORT I want to post this here to draw your attention to the new superb facility opened today.

Meadows View Pavilion officially opened today in Campbeltown and will offer an excellent facility to various groups throughout Campbeltown and Kintyre. For more news and photos please view here:- ... /index.htm

Quite surprised that no-one posted here to say what a great facility this is!

Locals, and in particular the Campbeltown and District Junior Football Association, have worked extremely hard to raise this cash over the last 2-3 years. Raffles, Dances, Sponsorship were all raised over a two year period to see this facility be built.

The use of the Pavilion will benefit ALL (either directly or indirectly) and it isn't just sports clubs who can use it. The Brownies have been using the function room!

Indeed well done to all concerned.

It's a cracking facility, the type of place that every town should have and that has been sadly lacking in Campbeltown.
