Take an hour to prepare for winter weather
The Scottish Government’s ‘Ready Scotland’ roadshow is coming to Argyll and Bute on 12 and 13 November offering advice to you, your family and local businesses on how to prepare for severe weather during the winter.
The roadshow will be at the Co-op supermarket in Rothesay on 12 November and at Aqualibrium in Campbeltown on 13 November giving local people an opportunity to seek advice first hand. The roadshow will be on site from 10am – 3pm.
The ‘Ready Scotland’ roadshow is travelling all over Scotland asking everyone to ‘take an hour’ and prepare for all kinds of severe weather during the winter months. Whether at home, in the community or on the move, we all need to consider the risks, and consequences, of severe weather and how we could be affected.
Don’t wait until it happens. By taking an hour you can do the things that will keep you, and those around you, safe this winter.
