Erection of 10 wind turbines 21.5m high Campbeltown

Postby Kintyre Forum News » Mon Oct 14, 2013 11:03 am

We received an email highlighting this application for 10 Wind Turbines at Campbeltown Waste Water Treatment Works along the shore at Slaty Farlan. Just highlighting this as surprised no one mentioned it on here - closing date for comments of support or objection is tomorrow. Amazing how low key some of these applications can be.

Scottish Water developing wind farms

In this week's list of planning applications published by A&BC, one for three 21.5 metre high wind turbines at the water works on the hill above the Glasgow road, and one for ten (TEN) of the same at the waste water works at Baraskomel. How is this related to Scottish Water's proper function? Are they going into competition with SSE?

Planning for the three at the Drumore water works has been refused.
