Crikey! Big spread in todays Telegraph. Is it as it says or is there some more to the story between the lines? But as they say "there's no such thing as bad publicity" (for the Toon I mean).

I was at a dinner a few years back where Macca was the star guest. When he got to me, I mentioned to him that when I was a stroppy teenager, I sold him some honey (was staying at Grannie's croft) and that he asked if he, Linda and the kids could go down on to the shore to take pictures of the seals. We nattered for ages and he enthused about Kintyre. But he did mention that 'the wife' (he was hitched to Heather then) wasn't as keen and preferred a bit more comfort.
