My Family tree, need help

My father was born in Campbeltown on 3rd of November 1934 (Alexander Strachan Gillies) as was his father (William Gilchrist Gillies) (Date of birth unknown), William married my Grandmother Majory Strachan and moved to Peterhead, we come from a long line of fishermen, I was a fisherman too, (Brian Strachan Gillies- 12/05/1958) and stay in Fraserburgh Aberdeenshire
My father was down to Campbeltown in the 1980's for the launch of a fishing vessel that he was mate on "Connaught V" FR 131 owned by Steven Green of Fraserburgh
Would anyone on the Kintrye Forum be a relative of mine, I would love to hear from you
