Italian Restaurant Wanted

Postby bakbjerg » Thu Jun 04, 2009 6:35 pm

So now a third indian restaurant has opened in town. Tried it yesterday, it was very nice by the way. :D
But I would like to think there's much bigger market for an Italian. It's impossible to find a decent pizza anywhere :?
Or am I wrong :?:

My husband and I were just talking about this very thing the other night! Even contemplated taking over the palm bistro and turning it into a lovely waterfront italian bistro... Not going to happen but I wish someone would  Since I've moved back to the town I miss going out for a weekly italian meal - my favourite type of food. Every time I'm up the road we go to Dimaggios or italian kitchen or lombardis for some lovely pizza/pasta - yum! Rothesay has a lovely italian restaurant that's packed out most of the time.

Although a good bar serving some fine wines and cocktails wouldn't go a miss (I miss that too! and some good old fashioned scottish pub grub)
