Dunaverty Hall & Southend Reunited

From a former post on the publication of Southend on the Mull of Kintyre Reunited, Dunaverty Village Hall committee are holding a Coffee afternoon on Sunday 15th 2.00-4.00pm in St Blaans Hall, and people can bring pictures along of Southend and its inhabiltants at work and leisure from 1900 to the present day.

Avril Stone who is doing the book is looking for pictures and stories about them to produce a photgraphic snapshot of the village and parish.

However she already has some pictures but needs help in putting names to faces and at times dates to events and even if you do not have a picture to bring you might be able to help identify the participants.

Tea/Coffee and homebaking £2.50 and 50p for children to raise hall funds.

Avril will also be holding sessions on Thursday 12th in the Argyll Arms Southend 7-9pm and MUneroy Tearooms Friday 27th from 2.00pm.

Come along and remember old times and help to produce a memorable book on Southend
