If it's less than a year old you could get it fixed under warranty.

Some of the playstation magazines have adverts for fixed price repairs, but you might be better of buying new and getting another years warranty. You should be able to get a basic package for £80 or less. Laser repairs were around £50, might be cheaper now.

already got another one, was just thinking of getting this one fixed to sell.
Couldn't find the warranty at the time, so its still broken.

Thanks anyway, sahara

We've got a dead one sat here you can have for spares. It has a broken CD drive. Other than that it's ok.

If it is a slimline ps2. There is a problem with the adapters and sony are recalling them. Check out www.sony.co.uk and click on playstations for more details.

No probs. It's one of the full-height ones, not the slimline.

How do you want mw to get it to you?

Sarah, sorry I haven't dropped this in yet. It's been under the seat of the Landrover for days. I'm down to the town for some new tyres tomorrow though so will try and drop it in then.

Cheers
