Television repair person

wanted - please! We have an Acoustic Solutions flat screen TV with built-in DVD player, and the DVD part has stopped working. Before we resort to buying a new TV we wonder if there is anyone out there who could repair it? The TV is too good to replace, but not expensive so if the repair comes in at too much, we may just have to get a new one - help!

Sorry, can't help with the TV repair, but why are you considering a new TV. Isn't it possible to just get a DVD player and connect it to the TV via connections on the back of the TV ?

Unfortunately we can't attach a separate DVD player - have tried all the scart combinations possible and some others too! It appears Sky does not like to share with others, so with a Sky box attached we can't connect a separate DVD, and without the Sky box we don't have any TV at all! Hence the need for a repair or a replacement - and a great deal of frustration!
