not sure what there called but would like to get 1 on the cheap. possibly free. my mouse has a big squeeky ball. if it was me id have seen the doctor by now.

thanks . been using my old one too much lately. dont know what happened to it. its ball seems to have swelled up and it squeeks a lot now. his name is belkin?? think its a refugee mouse

I use one of these:

Not wireless, I know, but I really like it. It also means I have lots more room on my desk to fill up with clutter.

Once you get you opti mouse make sure you use it on a decent surface - otherwise the LED won't pick up that the mouse is moving.
